Last weekend was the launch party for Shawnimal's Plushform at the delightful Rotofugi of Chicago. Shawn was kind enough to ask me to take part in the show and since the veil of secrecy has been removed now I can unveil.... Cry for Help! Based on an old street art piece I did a year or two ago.

Cry for Help! is a pathetic ball of needy self-loathing who only acts out to get attention from his inner circle of people who can barely tolerate him but have known him for a long time. This needy egomaniac can come home with you to darken your doorstep with his special brand of high maintenance bummers. Get him now before his Mom stops paying his rent!

You can see the rest of the plushes from the show here.

This custom is the very first piece I've done officially for my new industrial concern called Fugue State. Look here for more details soon!

Hey there good peoples of earth, I've been a tad busy doing some rad new designs so sorry I haven't been able to update the old site. The main thing I want to announce is that I've recently released a enormous 50x70cm 3 color silkscreen print entitled "Le Cirque des Oiseaux" (Circus of the Birds). It's available exclusively through http://www.littleartbook.com in London and it's my first release with a European company and its also my first silkscreen print if you can believe that. Anyways head on over and buy yourselves one or two they retail for £85 (approx. $170 USD).

April is the season for benefit shows it seems. I've also been honored to be asked to be in Stoked Mentoring's Stoked Sessions LA. Other artists in the show include: STEVE CABALLERO / CHRISTIAN HOSOI/ CHRIS PASTRAS / HIT + RUN / TODD BRATRUD / EYEONE / JOEY POTTS / KOFIE'ONE / DRAFTSMEN / ENIK ONE /NORTON WISDOM / JOE JOE WEBB / MARCO ZAMORA / and more

I'll be doing a custom skate deck in the style of my custom toys. Expect Char, hearts, and lots of high gloss super glittery auto paint. It's going to be a one of a kind piece to benefit Stoked's mentoring program that teaches at risk kids and successful grown up types how to win at life through action sports.

As a former troublemaker, skateboarding got me through some tough spots as a kid and I hope to pass something on to another kid who couldn't afford to skate, surf, or snowboard otherwise.

I'm fortunate to have been invited to be a part of a benefit for the Alias Gallery in Indianapolis In. on April 4th. The show is also to celebrate the release of Peel Magazine's new book Peel Magazine: The Art of the Sticker. Dave and Holly Combs have been diligently representing the Sticker Art scene for a very long time. Their magazine Peel was the first to document the sticker scene and they're still doing it. Hats off to them for representing and supporting the scene!

The PEEL Magazine art opening and book signing is

When: 6-10 p.m., April 4. Show stays up until April 30.
Where: Alias Gallery, 1043 Virginia Ave.
Cost: Free event; “PEEL: The Art of the Sticker” books are $33.

If you're in NYC don't forget to check out tonight's art show that I'm in Angel Headed Hipsters of the East group show. It's curated by Greg Siff and Ourartsite.com.
Ourartsite.com was nice enough to run an interview with me on their site and it's located here. Thanks to Ekosystem and C-monster for spreading the word.

Skewville Plasticgod and Sara Antoinette Martin are in the show tonight among others.
